What Do You Want To Be Known For?

You are known for what you do. Not your intentions, but what you actually do.

We know this is true, but yet we continue to procrastinate some our best work that needs to be shared with the world.

So here is the question.

What do you want to be known for?

How do you want to be thought of by others?

When you really think about it, what type of impact do you want your life to have on those you come in contact with?

Once you have that picture in your mind, take a minute and ask yourself another question.

Is it what you are currently known for? Do the images of how you want to be viewed and how you are viewed in alignment? Do you actions line up with your intentions?

For most people the answer is no.

They give themselves the benefit of the doubt and measure their world based on their intentions, while others measure based on actions. We judge others by what they do while we judge ourselves based on what we intended to do.

We are not remembered for what we intended to do. We are remembered because of what we did and who we impacted in our life.

Here is the question again: What do you want to be known for?

Take a minute and write down a one sentence statement of what you want to be known for. Once that is done, start crafting the steps you need to take to make it happen. Chances are it is not a one step process. It will take time to get there, but if it is what you truly want to be know for, then the price, time, and effort as irrelevant. You can't put a price tag on your dreams.
