Using your emotions to think is part of what makes us human.

Where we get into trouble is when we think with our emotions.

If emotions are driving the car, your better judgment is in the backseat. This is a dangerous place to be.

Emotions are one criteria we use to think and make decisions, but it should not be used by itself. Timing, social, family, financial, and many other criteria should also be part of the thought process.

Validate the emotions you feel because they are real. However, make sure you do not let them control your thoughts.
